Review: The PlayStation Classic takes you back to the ’90s, for better and for worse

Lifelong PlayStation fans have probably already decided if they’re interested in buying the PlayStation Classic — particularly since Sony has already released a list of the 20 games preloaded on the console.

But the company has also said it wants to attract players who are new to the platform — maybe you haven’t played most of the games, or any of them, but you like the idea of checking out classic titles like “Final Fantasy VII,” “Metal Gear Solid” and “Grand Theft Auto,” without actually having to track down 20-year-old hardware.
